Ella Douglas explores traditionally male-dominated industries, reimagining them through a queer lens. Previously supported by Bentley, Ella embodies the brand’s ethos of excellence, artistry, and innovation. Douglas is drawn to refining spaces often perceived as rough or utilitarian, transforming them into something polished and considered. By taking inspiration from the mundane and industrial, they translate everyday aesthetics into artistic, wearable pieces. Their SS26 collection is inspired by the office and loading bay environment they occupied from 9 to 5 each day. In the quiet rhythm of office life, the mind begins to wander, scanning the space for moments of inspiration rather than watching the clock. This daily backdrop became the foundation of their creative process. As a highly tactile designer, they drew from overlooked details within the environment—the mop left in the corner, textured metal flooring, and strips of hazard-yellow tape. In collaboration with Imprint Works, Ella Douglas developed embroideries and prints that reflect the textures and graphics found within these industrial sceneries.
