NAFS

NAFS نَفْس is a Queer SWANA (South West Asia & North Africa) cultural platform dedicated to amplifying marginalised voices through art, fashion, film, music, and community-led programming. Founded as a response to racism, elitism, and systemic exclusion within creative and LGBTQ+ industries, NAFS creates intentional spaces where Queer SWANA identities can exist without compromise.

Through exhibitions, workshops, performances, screenings, and gatherings, NAFS foregrounds cultural storytelling, political resistance, and collective healing. The platform operates with a for us, by us ethos; honouring heritage while embracing futurity, humour, softness, and rage in equal measure.

NAFS is not just a platform, but a living archive, chosen family, and site of refusal; refusing silence, erasure, and assimilation.
